Brushed Metal 3D Corporate Office Sign For Softcom
A Brushed Metal Logo on an Orange Feature Wall
SoftCom Inc. provides email and web hosting services, also known as myhosting.com and mail2web.com. For their office, the SoftCom smile logo and lettering were cut as dimensional elements and faced with brushed-metal film, so each piece reads as solid metal from the front while the polished acrylic edges stay glass-clear from every angle.
Floating Installation with Clear Spacers
Every element mounts on clear spacers that hold it off the bright orange drywall. The gap throws soft shadows behind the letters and the smile logo, giving the flat wall real depth and making the sign appear to float — the effect the caption photos on this page show from several angles.
Description:
Close-up detail of the SoftCom smile logo on an orange painted drywall wall. The sign was laser cut from rare 1⁄2 inch green edge acrylic, giving the edges a water-clear glass-like appearance. Glossy brushed film was applied to the faces, and the logo pieces were mounted with 1⁄2 inch clear spacers for dimensional depth
This sign was installed with patented artsigns mounting system, no drilling, no dust, no noise, and most importantly very quick, in this case about 15 minutes.
