Cafe Art, Ocad - "Wooden Look" Custom Acrylic 3D Wall Sign

These custom 3D letters were made for Cafe Art at OCAD University in Toronto, Ontario. Made using 1/2" thick cutout acrylic and mounted securely to the wall above the guest point of purchase area with threaded rods and spacers, this Cafe sign provides a cozy, and modern look. We used a thin wooden finish on clear acrylic letters so you can actually see that the letters are clear when you look at them from the side. When acrylic letters are made clear like this, light passes through them and makes wonderful reflections on the wall, sparking interest, while providing a clean and refreshing look. An excellent twist on a classic wooden look.
